Members of the public are able to use the above Information and sign-posting service to see what`s on in Headingley with useage of a computer and photocopier as required (a small charge will be levied on photocopying). Or why not pop in for a chat.
Right Choices Meeting / Activity Centre - Headingley Community Centre, North Lane, Leeds LS6 3HG
The activity centre is where the community group will meet, in Leeds - Monday and Tuesday Evenings 7:00pm to 9:30pm. The members group will plan and choose for themselves what leisure activities they would like to do individually or in a small group on the evenings and weekends. Individuals or groups will carry out their own tasks, participate and engage themselves in "mainstream" and community base leisure activity and work alongside communities, giving them a boost of confidence and a wonderfull feeling and acknowledgement of choice.
Through our professional roles and personal experience, RIGHT CHOICES are aware that many people with learning disabilities lack confidence. They miss out on opportunities to meet others, simply socialize, and have fun that they should have. RIGHT CHOICES wish to provide an outlet via our facilities, people, and group sessions to provide an outlet to relieve stress, build confidence, and find enjoyment in learning about themselves along with other group members around them in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
